Shutter Happy Since The 70s
I'm still under construction and every day is a school day.
My interest in photography started in 1977, with a Kodak 110 instamatic for a birthday present. Quickly progressing to an at least second hand Zorki 4K - one of the 1,715,677 made by KMZ Russia, and then to the Nikon platform - as fast as schoolboy earnings allowed.
By the early 90s Canon had trumped Nikon, but life happened and cameras, photography and the emerging digital revolution left me behind for a few years.
2004, and encouraged by some friends with a requirement for recording a few local events, I pitched into the unfamiliar world of pixels, sensors, tethered shooting and Adobe. The 21st century had arrived belatedly in my life.
An all too common 'rash' purchase in 2015 -'Honest, I only wanted a cheap portrait lens', got me using up-to-date Canon gear, and I've been learning and catching up ever since
Thank you - family, friends, supporters and customers
